HISTORY
Aromatia began as an ancient Eastern empire ruled by a wise and peaceful emperor. However, after his son, Gù Lián, murdered him to seize the throne, a dark age followed—marked by tyranny, wealth-hoarding, and oppression. Women were treated as objects of pleasure, and men were stripped of wealth and dignity. Brutal raids plagued innocent families.
The chaos drew European intervention... though their help came with hidden agendas. Colonization loomed. It divided the citizens to some who gave up to the easterns and others who wished there was a way to handle it all by themselves. In the end, a courageous and brilliant European king, after an agreement with some Aromatian Nobles, managed to overthrow the tyrant, though he died right after. Some remember him as a savior, others as an opportunist. Either ways, A secondary royal were held the rights to rule Aromatia. This turning point birthed the Delorenzo reign. And. The 'Empire' became a 'kingdom' Through intense conflict, they established fairness while integrating both cultures. Thus, the empire transformed into a 'peaceful' kingdom where heritage and progress co-exist.

ECONOMY
Aromatia is famous for its medicinal herbs and rare flowers, especially those prized for their exquisite scents, making it the world’s leading perfume producer. These same plants are used to craft potent medicines and skin treatments that seemingly reverse aging. Many tourists visit just to witness the vibrant natural beauty: vast greenery, blooming fields, and the therapeutic essence that seems to heal the soul through sight and scent alone. Since many centuries, Aromatia had solutions for breath, for sweat, for purifying the air. Some of the flowers that ONLY used to grow in Aromatia's soil alone
GEOGRAPHY
Located at the very east of Asia... The kingdom’s East is covered by dense forests, cut through by a winding river that flows westward into the grand sea. This natural divide marks more than geography... it’s symbolic of Aromatia’s cultural split as well. It's not a well flatted land, it's filled with hills and mountain in many areas.
interesting sight:
The most iconic symbol of Aromatia is The Bloomfather (Zhàn Fù) , a revered statue of a bald man seated with his head slightly tilted in serene contemplation. Atop his head rests a single mystical flower, bearing exactly 365/366 petals. Its colors shift with the seasons, and each day, one petal falls, marking the passage of time. The intelligent inventor (?) who made that however still remains a mystery.
Climate:
Aromatia experiences a temperate monsoonal climate with four distinct seasons, shaped by its varied topography and its position in the far eastern hemisphere. While the kingdom is characterized by rolling hills, forested highlands, and scattered lowland plains, it maintains a relatively balanced seasonal cycle throughout the year.

CITIZENS ›
The Western Region [including Celestine, Emberwyn, Elysara, Mystvale, and Brighthaven] is deeply European in style. These regions embrace elegance, prestige, and status, often looking down on the more traditionally rooted East. If a royal member is not in the capital, they are probably in one of those cities. Their social circles are known for perfectionism, strained family dynamics, and this unfortunately caused high divorce rates. They place immense trust in the Delorenzo family to lead the kingdom—except for Domantas, whom they largely dismiss in favor of his younger brother, Juan.
The Eastern Region [home to Lunaris, Sylvoria, Nerathis, Verdant Haven, and Thaloria] holds tightly to its ancestral roots. Citizens are poetic, artistic, and deeply family-oriented. Known to cherish even distant relatives (yes, even Eve and Adam would get a visit/j), they value community over class. Political discussions are disliked, and only Domantas is deeply trusted here. Their cities are developed and modern, though their homes retain the warm ambiance of Chinese interior design. Rural villages reflect even more traditional Asian architecture on the outside too though! . They view the Westerners as arrogant, accusing them of abandoning their cultural origin to wear a mask that isn’t theirs.Aromar, the capital, is the heart of the kingdom’s clash—a bustling tug-of-war between East and West, past and future.FESTIVALS & CERMONIES ›
THE NEWYEAR For aromatians, the new year is quite special. Because of the existance of the Bloomfather status. On the final day of the year, as the last petal drops, the kingdom celebrates a grand festival, for at the stroke of midnight, the flower miraculously blooms anew, signaling the start of another year. There are alot of activities done on that day, but the most special is climbing the bald head's man and take off the stem which then gets buried next to the statue, believing its a way to pass the 'magical' nutrients to the new blooming flower!.
BLOODVIEL FESTIVAL is an annual festival as a solemn reminder of the nation's liberation from the cruelty and suffering experienced under a former unjust emperor. The event commemorates the resilience and patience of the ancestors who endured those harsh times and ultimately witnessed the fall of tyranny. It serves both as a celebration of freedom and a reflection on the nation's hard-earned peace. This festival usually take place next to a very old tree on a high hill where the biggest known fight occured.WHITE SLEEVE DAY is a nationally recognized event held annually on the 7th of September, established by Duke, or Prince Juan of Aromatia. Rather than celebrating his own birthday with festivities, Duke Juan chose to dedicate the day to charitable acts across the kingdom. Each year, he personally visits a different city, walking its streets and directly engaging with the citizens... particularly the underprivileged. The day is marked by large-scale donations, public outreach programs, and acts of service, reflecting Duke Juan’s commitment to humility, social responsibility, and the well-being of all Aromatians.THE SPOUSE CERMONY is a traditional engagement ritual that are commonly practiced by high-class, nobles and royals in Aromatia. The event typically takes place in an elaborately decorated hall, where the eligible man selects a flower.... either based on personal preference or the symbolic meaning of the bloom... and presents it to the woman who captures his attention. Usually any woman is free to come or not hence no one among them is forced and that avoids 'rejection'.Among royals, the tradition is more rigid. The crown prince is required to participate in this ceremony upon reaching the age of 24, regardless of personal readiness or desire. For other princes or nobles, participation is voluntary. Once a future spouse is chosen and accepts the flower, an official engagement follows. However, the wedding may be postponed as long as necessary to allow for thorough background checks, proper preparation, and training in royal protocols.CENTURAL ANNIVERSARY marks 100 years since the founding of the Kingdom of Aromatia. As the name suggests, it is a rare occasion (celebrated only once every century) but when it does occur, it is regarded as the grandest and most significant national celebration, uniting citizens across all regions in remembrance, pride, and festivity. EVERYONE celebrates wherever they are. And for the nobles and royals a great ball happens at night after the royals' respected speechesUNIQUE FACTS ›

ABOUTThe highest position in Aromatia is, unsurprisingly, that of the Royal Family. The Delorenzo lineage has held this title for generations, passing it down through hereditary succession. Several members of this family have had a significant impact on the kingdom's history and development. To avoid any family drama, it's only the DELORENZO BLOOD that's allowed to rule. Hence any adopted kid can be a prince/ess for the furthest.

Directly beneath the royals are the nobles, who often maintain close ties to the monarchy or hold influential roles within the state. These include high-ranking political figures such as the Prime Minister, royal advisors, and other senior officials.

👑RECOGNISED MEMBERS
KING LUCAS During his reign, King Lucas faced significant civil unrest, most notably from the Eastern population of Aromatia, who protested against the gradual erasure of their cultural identity. Historical records suggest that the king gave little attention to their demands, which led to long-standing tensions.

King Lucas is also known for deviating from traditional marital customs by selecting three spouses during the royal selection ceremony, marrying all of them. Among them, Queen Elora was widely regarded as his closest companion and confidante. She was the mother of King Marquez, the current ruler of Aromatia.

Queen Elora's death occurred when Marquez was fifteen years old. Official reports state that she was murdered by one of King Lucas’ other wives, who was later executed for the crime. While the motive was never officially confirmed, it was widely speculated to be rooted in jealousy, as Elora had given birth to the king’s firstborn son... an event traditionally signifying the child’s status as future heir to the throne. The matter, however, was never publicly investigated in detail and remains partially undisclosed. Anyways, some blame Lucas for being obviously unfair to the wives.
KING MARQUEZ The current ruler of Aromatia. He is widely known for his stern demeanor and uncompromising approach to governance. Often described as heartless and unyielding, King Marquez is particularly intolerant of offensive actions or misconduct, famously refusing to offer second chances. His decisions are firm and rarely... if ever... revised once made, and he is regarded as difficult to persuade.

During his reign, a noticeable decline in major criminal activity has been reported across the kingdom, a change attributed to his strict enforcement policies and zero-tolerance stance on crime.

Additionally, King Marquez was the first monarch to implement the rule permitting unrestricted hunting in Aromatia’s forests, eliminating the previous requirement for official permissions. Royals and nobles are exceptions.
QUEEN HELENA After marrying King Marquez, Queen Helena played a significant role in addressing the longstanding grievances of the Eastern population. She was the first royal figure to actively focus on resolving the struggles faced by Eastern communities, offering them hope and a renewed sense of inclusion... especially following the announcement of Prince Domantas' birth and his notably humble character, not expecting her to give birth at such a late age.

Queen Helena became well-known for her extensive charity work and made history as the first queen to grant a noble title to a family of pure Eastern descent, allowing them to serve under the royal court. Her actions marked a pivotal step toward bridging the divide between the central kingdom and the Eastern territories.

Tragically, Queen Helena passed away due to complications from excessive bleeding shortly after giving birth to her second son, Duke Juan. Her death was met with widespread mourning, particularly among Eastern citizens who had viewed her as a symbol of progress and compassion.
PRINCESS LIORA Liora is one of King Marquez's step-siblings, born to King Lucas and his final wife who remained alive for a good while Within the royal court, Liora holds significant influence over matters pertaining to women’s affairs, particularly those involving rights, roles, and responsibilities inside the palace. She is often regarded as the chief figure overseeing women’s policies and initiatives in Aromatia as well.

Liora was known for advocating women's struggles... Especially those within the noble class. However, her efforts have been met with both praise and criticism. While she did champion several reforms for aristocratic women, she was often accused of neglecting the needs of commoners and lower-class women. Her privileged attitude led her to prioritize high-society issues, which caused a growing disconnect between her office and the broader female population.

A patron of the arts, Liora viewed ballet as a refined and elevated form of expression. Under her influence, ballet became an exclusive practice reserved strictly for nobility, further reinforcing class divisions in artistic spaces.

She divorced twice. And she has 4 daughters and one son, most of them older than Domantas himself
